We are happy to announce the appointment of David Connelly and Nicolae Cojocaru as Assistant National Coaches. David is a former Commonwealth Games medallist and coach and has vast experience in the sport of wrestling. Nicolae is the current No 5 wrestler in the world and has international wrestling and coaching experience.

They will both support the delivery of the new Talent Development and Performance Programme, Nicolae in the North and David around the central belt. We are very happy to welcome both to the team and wish them great personal and team achievements.
